Understanding their backgrounds and the demographics truly can open your eyes to working with them, not against them. Giving students jobs or allowing them to excel through an advanced exercise can keep them engaged longer and increase motivation.

This showed justice by providing students with specialized instruction, purposely to help the succeed. Another example was when a student was absent for several days, they were given an extension on their project.

I have demonstrated Justice and Integrity by not only holding students accountable for their actions or talents, but by evaluating each student based on their individual skills for their Physical Education grade.
Ex: During a Health Lesson, a student who does not like to participate in PE received credit for filling in their MyPlate By drawing pictures of their vegetables, protein, grains, and fruits. Rather than writing it out.
