As some of you may have noticed, I have a bit of an unusual name. The story of how I got it was actually quite funny. By this time my mom had already had two of the four kids she would have, and by the third she realized that she wanted to give one of us a biblical name. However, my mom also wanted something unique, so she was a bit stumped. My sisters tried to give her ideas, but truthfully they weren't much help. One of my sisters even tried to name me Cinderella! Thankfully my mom did not agree on that name, but later that same sister gave another suggestion that my mom did like. Apparently my sister was trying to say "Isaiah," but she made a mistake and added in a "n." And so, I was born and given the name I have today. Aizaneh. Although I'm not sure as to why she chose the spelling she did.

My little Hen

My entire life I was a devoted dog lover, and I really mean devoted. I was terrified of cats after I had one unfortunate encounter with a rude cat. I could not stand them after that. At least that was until I got my little kitty! Henry, or Hen, is my highly food motivated siamese-mixed cat. He is a little under 2 years old, and I've had him since he was 12 weeks old. If I'm being entirely honest, I only got my cat because my mom wouldn't let me get a dog, but it turned out to be one of the dest decisions I've ever made! Hen has changed my entire perspective on cats, so much so that I would even consider myself a cat person.

I swear he's much cuter than the picture, I just couldn't resist using this photo. It's one of my favorites!

My mom had 4 children all of which were girls! I am the 3rd born, making me the second middle child, which came it's own perks! Going from oldest to youngest, my sisters are Teya, Nyah, and Alayna, and if you haven't noticed my mother, Tamika, loved names that ended with "uh."

Although I was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia and I have lived in 8 states, Arkansas is where I have lived the longest and consider home. Actually, I have moved to Arkansas two times. I moved here the first time from Texas around Kindergarten, moved away to Kansas in 1st grade, and then returned to Arkansas towards the end of 3rd grade. I've been here ever since, although I have moved cities and schools quite a bit.

I ended up at Roger Haas Hall Academy in my sophomore year, and I ended up finishing my high school education there last year. Fun fact: my youngest sister will also be graduating from there in a few months! While I definitely have my own thoughts about Haas, without it I wouldn't have met my wonderful boyfriend as well as my favorite teacher, so I guess it wasn't all that bad!
