-Across the board the consensus was, districts need to be more transparent with their budgets. This transparency will create understanding behind critical monetary decisions, and develop a feeling of accountability for those making the decisions.

- It is essential for the district to be good stewards of the taxpayer's money, but still, invest money into the right people.

- An organization needs to not only talk the talk but walk the walk as well. You can talk about all of the processes and policies that you have “in place,” but if you do not use them consistently or practice them, they are useless and will create struggles within your organization.

- If teachers are involved in decision making, be transparent and let them know all of the stakeholders and how the decision will ultimately be made, to ensure a high level of staff empowerment.
