The traveling nurse career field is a branch of healthcare that combines aspects of nursing, including tasks assisting patients as well as administering vaccines, with moving to different locations around a country or even the world for a limited amount of time. Being a traveling nurse requires much schedule flexibility and time as well as dedication to the nursing profession. Traveling nurses are known to work in impoverished areas and places where conditions are less than desirable, so they must be prepared for anything when it comes to their occupation.
