What would be the consequences from long term exposure to medications for ADHD?

My Response:
Long terms use of ADHD medications can be both beneficial and adverse in their effects. Methylphenidate can cause reduced liklihood for suicide in patients with ADHD, however methylphenidate can cause psychosis and tics. This can be removed by slow removal of methylphenidate use.
