Remoras feed on shark-dropped prey leftovers. They also eat parasites that live on the Shark's skin and in its mouth. This makes the Shark happy since the parasites would annoy the Shark otherwise. The Sharks provide more than just a convenient food supply; they also guard the Remora against predators and provide free transit throughout the waters. Remoras keep the waters around the Shark free of leftovers, inhibiting the growth of harmful organisms.
