In the fifth week of the course I attend the second guest lecture which was delivered by the Rachel Bickley liaison, research and digital manager at London metropolitan university library services. This lecture is fascinating i know about how to use the online library application for my studies and i also know about the different sources of learning material is available on the library and how i can access the variety of learning sources such as electronic books, journal articles,statistic and authentic health websites and how to use this material correctly in my assignment and opening hours of library. In the week fifth of my course i had opportunity to attend first guest lecture which is delivered by Dr. Nataliya Shiraz campus director ECA. The lecture was about on academic integrity. I found this lecture is very interesting and helpful, i was surprised by how the student attentionally and unintentionally involved in the academic misconduct at university. I learn about the different type of academic misconduct as well as importance of referencing  the source so to avoid plagiarism. One of the shocking bit is how the universities in london utilises the software application such as turnitin to assesses the level of academic misconduct. This lecture is helped me to aware about the academic misconduct and how to avoid it in the future and motivates me to be honest in the academic setting.

The types of secondary data sources and how to use the existing data collected by others and the value of citation of source use in the research assignment. She organised the task for better understanding. This is very helpful because as i first time use the secondary data for my research report. Before this lecture i was confuse about how to found and use the secondary data but this lecture helped me for completing my research report and in future it will be useful for me to do research dissertation during my masters.
