These words remind us that living freely is the natural way to exist. Phrases like "breathe in" suggest that freedom is as natural as breathing. Words like "Believe" and "Hold on" convey a sense of urgency in the sense that freedom is worth fighting for and can be attained.

This quote means get rid of the negatives because they will slow you down, and can lower your confidence in yourself. Miss Swifter is saying this because of what she says earlier in the song.
