Thessaloniki has a very long history. On a day's walk around its roads we had the opportunity to visit three sites that are included on the list of World Heritage sites by UNESCO. The Byzantine (still active!) monastery, Moni Vlatadon, Saint Dimitrios church and Rotonda.
In the historical garden of the monastery as a gesture for ecological awareness but also a symbolic act of connection between the past, the present and the future, we planted a small flower.
