These criteria include:
1.) Knowledge/Versatility
-How will these people benefit the group. Are they mechanics who can fix a car? Are they a police officer who can shoot a firearm?
2.) Potential Health Problems
-If a member of the group gets sick then they are no longer able to benefit themselves or others. This is not a positive situation.
3.) Personality
-If anyone in the group does not get along then no work will get done. Since Rick is a police officer, he'll know how to fire a gun and this will help out immensely. If you take in Rick, he won't stay unless his family is there as well. His son and wife don't offer much use except for extra , healthy people to help fight off zombies. Having a pregnant woman could lead to some problems as she could die in childbirth leaving a crying baby with no apparent source of food.
