This is a talk story because it is a story that her mother is passing down to her to try and teach her a lesson. It might not even be completely accurate because the mother is trying to teach her daughter, and talk stories are changed to fit different situations. This chapter is an example of a story because it is one story inside another and that story inside another. What I mean is the main story that is being told throughout this whole huge story (novel) is about Kingston's aunt. Like I said in the last response, everyone is orally telling the story whether it is the truth or not. The moral of the story is that it is against their way of living throughout their organization of their society to become pregnant and disobey the way of the family.
