A person could also go to an urgent care.“Urgent care departments are same-day clinics that can handle a variety of conditions that need to be treated right away but are not emergencies” (page 8). Some conditions are sore throats, light fevers, common sprains, vomiting, etc. One other things a person can do when they are in desperate times is call 9-1-1 for an ambulance. “For certain medical emergencies, such as a heart attack or stroke, taking an ambulance is safer because paramedics can deliver life-saving care on the way to the hospital” (page 7).

Once, I was at a dinner party and one lady passed out. Her husband was about to drive her to the hospital, but his friends told him not too. They recommended him to call an ambulance so they could get there faster, considering it was around rush hour and he wasn't in the best shape to drive either. She was admitted to an E.R. because she what passed out because of severe hydration and her nutrient levels were quite low. She stayed in the hospital for an entire month.
