Thankfully, I didn't lose power for very long. I live near the hospital, so they always keep the power on there. It just went off and on several times. I also had internet. My son's friend didn't have power or water, so he has been at our house for a week. Feeding three tween/teenage boys for a week means I'm broke.

I did the homework for my class, watched true crime TV, and finished my book. I did, however, avoid grading essays. But I promise I'm working on it.

We have trees all down on our road. My dad plowed places and made sure our road was clear. Grace came over to my house because she didn't have power and we have a generator. We had internet because we had a generator. My parents went on a date out of town for 24 hours so it was my responsibility to take care of my dogs and put gas in the generator. My deck got completely destroyed because a tree fell on it so my whole railing is gone on the ground. My chickens are ok.
