         <description><![CDATA[<div>William A. Clark was born on August 1, 1770, in Caroline County, Virginia. Clark was one of the famous exploration team Lewis and Clark, who mapped and explored the west of the Mississippi river. This expedition lasted 2 years and was 8,000 miles. He was later elected as the governor of the Missouri Territory.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Edward Henry Harriman was born on Feb. 20, 1848, in Hempstead, New York. Harriman bought a seat on the stock exchange when he was 21 after borrowing $3,000 from his uncle. He married Mary Williamson in 1879, she was the daughter of the President of an upstate New York railroad. In 1887 Harriman became president of the Illinois Central railroad.
