2. Thomas' confusion grew deeper in Chapter 2 because he had no idea why he had been braught to the Glade.
3. The boys are reluctant to give him answers because he is new to the Glade and they don't want to confuse him more.
4. A "Greenbean" is the word the kids use instead of "New kid".
5. Many of the other boys are treating Thomas like he is dumb. They are doing this because he is new and doesn't know much about the Glade.

2. Alby talked to Thomas because he had been through the Changing and had remembered his past. He told thomas that what he sees is very grim and that Thomas was the one who put everyone in the Maze.

In Chapter 42, Thomas had Newt, Minho and Theresa copy all the maps on to wax paper. It revealed that the maze was spelling out words a letter a day. I think this means that the words are a code that they need to decipher. 
2. Minho revealed to Thomas that they had hidden the maps in the basement and that all the maps in the Map Room were decoys. They did this because Alby had told them to protect the maps when he went through the Changing.
3. The Maze code revealed six words: float, catch, bleed, death, stiff, and push. Everyone was frustrated because they taught the words would have an obvious meaning once they were figured out, but it was very unclear what they meant or what to do with them.
