The shoe print may have belonged to either Anna or Lucy because they both had the same type of shoe. Most likely, the shoe print was from Anna because the wear on the sole of Anna's shoe matched the crime scene better than Lucy's shoe. Additionally, the shoe that made the print must have been fairly dirty and Anna's shoe was much filthier than Lucy's shoe.

Anna Garcia was found dead on the morning of August 25 but she had actually died at approximately 7:00 am on the same day. Experts were able to determine this by using Anna's rectal temperature of 92.4 degrees F taken at 11 am and plug it in to a formula that subtracts the rectal temperature from 98.4 and then divides that by 1.5 to find the approximate hours since death (4 hours) In order to pin point a time, experts subtracted 4 hours from 11 am (time of death- 7 am).

SHe hit her head on the cart and died of head trauma. Her dog ate the pills causing him to throw up on the floor. She had a gun out on the cart from the night before when she thought she heard an intruder but it turned out to be nothing (or so she thought). The police had to break down the door to get in because it was locked because she was being cautious. The syringe was on the floor from the medicine she took earlier. The lamp fell when Anna tripped.
-Took pills, through up, hallucinated from the drugs, and shot herself.
-Got mad when the dog was barking because she had a headache do she took some medicine and dropped a few on accident.

With the evidence found at the crime scene, experts were able to determine that the manner of death was natural and a potential cause of death was blood clots. Evidence that is indicative of blood clotting is oxygen deprivation, generalized pallor, graying of the fingernails and toenails, light bleeding that suggests lack of blood flow and edema of the ankles. The manner of death is natural because blood clotting (stroke, heart attack, pulmonary embolism, etc) are all innate ways to die.

Anna began to complain of fatigue and the inability to complete her normal activities without needing rest. At the doctor, her pulse was normal, she had no signs of edema, no ear pain or sore throat, her glands were not swollen, and her speech, hearing, and vision appear normal. However, Anna mentioned an occasional tingling sensation, and a urinalysis showed glucose in her urine. More of Anna's symptoms include thirst, fatigue, and frequent urination. Glucose tolerance testing showed Anna's blood was hyper tonic which would be responsible for her symptoms. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes because her blood sugar was rising and not coming back down to baseline (GTT) and her insulin levels remain low (insulin testing)
