The movement that I chose was "The Great Gate of Kiev."
In that movement, I honestly am not sure what is being conveyed. It was a lot to take in honestly. It seems like it wants to make the listener feel as if they are entering the castle through the "Great Gates."
The artwork shows a castle, so that is how the movement and the artwork relate.

The piece I chose was, "Imagining Van Gogh's Starry Night" by Anonymous. This piece of artwork is expressing a very unique idea. It is expressing how Van Gogh saw the "Starry Night." Meaning that this is a representation of what the artist thinks Van Gogh saw when he painted the piece, "Starry Night."
The mood in this piece is "Curiosity" and "Wonderment." I chose those two because it shows what the artist thought Van Gogh saw when he painted the "Starry Night," and what he thinks was going on when he painted the famous painting we know and love today....."Starry Night."

For this music composition, I have chosen to compose a melody based on,"The Force" theme by John Williams. This adds a calm and perplexing feeling to this piece of artwork. In the future, I may add a harmony to it, to make it flow better.

This time, I have changed a huge portion of the piece that I had originally done. I now started from the beginning and found a new instrument, and started a whole new compositional piece, yet for the same piece of art I chose. My piece changes over time by using a calming theme and then raising the pitch, increasing the tension and feeling of the song. Yet to make it a "finished piece," I would need to add more instruments for a background tone or feeling. Cinema strings as the next instrument would be a great opportunity to represent that calming feeling as well as going with the flow of the instrument that I'm already using.

This is the last of the Music Compositions for the Van Gogh visualization artwork of "The Starry Night." Instead of the cinema strings, I chose to use the harp. It seemed like the perfect choice for the calming tone of the instrumentals that I had already done, and it turned out beautifully. The harp really brought the whole thing together, like how you can't have a song without instruments. The title of this is, "The Mind of Van Gogh." I chose that as the title because that is what the piece is essentially all about, and what the artwork I chose is representing, so I thought it was a fitting title for the composition. This will conclude my music composition for the Van Gogh piece. As for the audience, try to listen for a tension build up in the ending.
