I am in good health now but my practices may lead me into bad health later. I will eat healthier and work out everyday for at least an hour a day. I will wake up in the morning and instead of using my extra time to go back to sleep I will stay up and just walk around my house until it is time to go to school. In between classes I will take a longer way to get more steps in. Then after school I will not sit down and watch T.V I will walk around and then do homework. This will all be done throughout the next full year everyday. I will eat healthier foods and reduce the risks of not having time to prepare a healthy snack by putting fruit in multiple bags and sticking them in the fridge for later. This plan will help me in the long run by allowing me to make healthier choices everyday, which will led to a good habit that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Over the chapters I have read, I have remembered three key facts that helped me with all of my decisions. These facts stood out to me the most and they are the ones that I keep referring back to. The first one is from section 2.2 and it is the six W's that contribute to making a plan. I have to think of these six things, "Who: Who is involved? What: What do I want to accomplish? Where: Identify a location. When: Establish a time frame. Which: Identify requirements and constraints. Why: Specific reasons, purpose or benefits of accomplishing the goal" (Preparing to Develop a Plan, 4). These are the properties that I need to focus on that will help me make a more specific plan for my health related situation. The next fact that helped me plan my health decision was from section 2.3 and setting a time frame. I need to set an attainable time frame, "Setting suitable time frames for action items and goal completion is critical for achieving goal setting success" (Implementing and Monitoring a Plan, 9). I have to set a goal within a reasonable time frame or else I may not reach my goal. The last fact that helped me was from 2.4 and it was personal goals only. I have to obtain my own goal and not anyone else's goal, "The most important thing to remember is that these are your goals, not your parent's, your teachers's, or anyone else's" (Creating a Plan, 11). I only have to focus on what is important to me and not anyone else's goal. If it's not personal to me, then my chances of succeeding are way lower.
