Hi, my name is Miguel Angel and I haven’t been to any other country.

Some cousins of my mom have gone to Chile. I also have some friends who live in other countries like Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador.

Before I saw the map, I had not heard of some places near Venezuela, like Georgetown, Paramaribo, and Cayenne, or countries like Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana. I also didn’t know that Montevideo was the capital of Uruguay.

I would like to visit Chile, Venezuela, and Colombia because I have some friends who live in those places. It would be great to travel there and meet them.

Hi! My name is Miguel Ángel and I'm from Tacna, Perú. Today I want to share what I would do if I were the mayor in my city.

If I were the mayor in Tacna, I would paint some ugly walls with art, because I think that colors make people happy.
Also, I believe that we should have more lights in the streets, 'cause sometimes is very dark and that mean is dangerous, specially for girls or old persons.

I could make a program for students to work part-time, like helping cleaning parks or helping in small jobs. That would give them money and experience.

And last idea, I consider that schools are too full, so maybe we should build more rooms or put more chairs, or do something because is hard to learn like that.

I think that there are too many street works in the center of Tacna. They are happening at the same time, and this causes a lot of traffic. Cars and buses cannot move well, and people arrive late to work or school.
If I were in the local government, I would plan the works better. I would not do all the projects at the same time.
The government should do the works step by step. This way, the streets can stay open.
This problem is important because traffic makes people angry and tired.
However, I know the streets need to be fixed, but the works need more organization. It is better for the community.
I think this change is not easy because there are many projects, but it is possible with good planning.
