- I thought digital research was: Going on Google. Very quantitative. Research made by programming, as most books on digital research is social media mining. Research within and using digital. Irrelevant to my course (criminology background).

- I see digital research as: Qualitative. Not just programming. A lot of data to work with, but getting access to it is harder - sometimes you are allowed little peaks. Actually relevant to criminology.

- One thing I've learned or changed my mind about is: The breadth and scope of digital research and how the mundane can give insight.

The first week was confusing for us. The first workshop taught us how we can revive all our data from digital platforms, which was impressive but also in the same way, all out datas have been stored in the digital world from a long time so its scary to think that it can be accessed by other people as well.

During week 12, we got the idea of ethical use of data collection and ways to follow it.

Learned: The idea of social media as a data collection center was new for us and was great idea and required less ethical thinking as everything was shared by users.
