Analysis on the meaning of of the word "Double" in most contexts (Act I

The use of double in the section, "He's here in double trust" (I.vii.12) talks about how Macbeth perceives that he believes that the king trust him for two reasons. Primary, Macbeth has been a loyal subject but also how he has hosted him. Double is used as emphasis in Macbeth's diction and also portraits his guilt of betraying the king.
Similarly, Lady Macbeth uses the word to demonstrate how honored they are to have the king as guest when she announces "All our service. In every point twice done and then done double" (I.vi.18). Using the word double to emphasize how the character feels about some matter persists in other instances.
