Reporting myself at Erwin Travel and Tours and started my Practical training on that day. During my first day of training, Erwin Travel and Tours Manager, Ms. Ziana gave me a bit briefing about the company, holiday, uniform and the work that need to be done throughout the training session. 

So for the first task, i have been taught on how to record the daily sales profit for each of the day. This records, aims to eased the staff to calculate the profit at the end of the month.

I was taught on how to book a plane ticket for Erwin Travel and Tours customer. This company use an online booking for their ticketing services. Erwin travel and tours is one of the company who providing their customer with a domestic and international flight ticket.

in the early stage i have been asked to use only Air Asia website for booking online ticket. It aims to make me familiar with the system so that i'm good at using it.

Work Process:
1. Log in to Air Asia web.
2. Ask the customer about the desired flight detail like:
  - Departure Date 
  - Return Date (If customer want a return flight)
  - Destination
  - How many person.
 3. Inform the customer about the time that available for their flight. Click on the chosen time.
4. Mention the price and ask them either to proceed or not.
5. Insert customer name, phone 
   number and company's email.
6. Repeat the flight detail before 
   proceed to the payment.
7. Click on online banking and fill the requirement, customer must make payment in cash to Erwin Travel first before proceed with online payment. 
8. Go to My booking in Air Asia web, copy all the booking information and paste in words. (Highlighted: Booking number and flight detail)
9. print it in 2 copy, and issued 1 copy to customer with their receipt, and another 1 is for Erwin Travel record. 
10. Jot Down the amount of Sales, Buy, and profit for the ticket. (For financial record)

My task for today is to manage the taxi commission and manage all the money transaction.Taxi commission is a wage paid by Erwin Travel and Tours to taxi drivers who bring in customers to Erwin Travel and buy one of the product offered by this company.

Work Process:

2. Open the taxi commission receipt book and check the total commission for the taxi driver.

Other than managing the taxi commission, i also have a duty to take care of all money transactions for this company.One of the tasks in managing the money transaction is to make money transfers to other Erwin branches such as Erwin Larkin. this process has been done by using online banking.    As mentioned earlier, flight ticket sales are the main business at Erwin Travel and Tours. Today, I manage the ticketing department. As for today i sold 2 ticket which is KUL-CHENNAI and KUL - EBB(ENTEBBE) ticket. 
   For Kuala Lumpur to Chennai ticket, i bought it by online from the Air Asia website. While for Kuala Lumpur to Entebbe ticket, i bought it from Traveloka.

Work Process (KUL - MAA):

2. Ask the customer about the flight detail like:

For the existing package that Erwin Travel had was the expired one. it valid until 31 March only, but the customer wanted to travel on August. So i need to request the latest Chiangmai Package from the supplier and update it.

1. Email to any agency that provide Chiangmai package.
2. Once the agency reply the email, I need to check out some details to make sure all the information is still the same as the old package.
3. Recalculate the price for each pax and update the package. 
4. Create an itinerary for the package and list down what is included for the trip.
5. Check the Flight thicket price for the date requested.
6. Check the travel insurance for the trip.
7. Total up all the amount and add company mark up for the package.

Title: Dummy Ticket, Daily Sales, Summary Daily Sales, Promotion Package

Since today there were not many customers entering Erwin Travel and Tours, so I was told to do basic work that needs to be done every day. The tasks was like Recording the Daily Sales in excel, Recording the total profit in the summary daily sales in words and make a promotional task for the package provided. 

Work Process;
1.  Open Daily Sales record in excel.
2. click on the yesterday date.
3. Fill in the required box like :
    - Customer's name
    - Date Departure
    - Destination
    - Pax
    - Amount Sold
    - Amount Buy
    - Staff's name that  Issued the ticket
    - Total Profit for the ticket 
4. Calculate the total profit for that day and open summary daily sales in words.
5. Record the total profit for yesterday's date.
6. Calculate the total profit from 1st April until yesterday.

As for the promotional task, i have been assigned to make a domestic travel package promotion. So i choose Langkawi package and make a poster so that i can promote it by post it in to the social media like Facebook, Instagram and whatsapp story.

Everyday i need to make promotion at least one promotion per day. As for today, i choose Europe packages as my promotional activities in social media. 

At noon, i manage to sell one flight ticket to customer. The ticket sold is from Kuala Lumpur to Surabaya. 

Work Process: 
1. Log in to Air Asia web.
2. Ask the customer about the flight detail like:
  - Departure Date 
  - Return Date (If customer want a return flight)
  - Destination
  - How many person.
 3. Inform the customer about the time that available for their flight. Click on the chosen time.
4. Mention the price and ask them either to proceed or not.
5. Insert customer name, phone number and company's email.
6. Repeat the flight detail before proceed to the payment.
7. Click on online banking and fill the requirement, customer must make payment in cash to Erwin Travel first before proceed with online payment. 
8. Go to My booking in Air Asia web, copy all the booking 
   information and paste in words.

9. print it in 2 copy, and issued 1 copy to customer with their receipt, and another 1 is for Erwin Travel record. 
10. Go to My Booking and go to the customers ticket, and click modify.
11. Click on the make payment button and click on online banking.

13. Print out the payment receipt for financial prove.

As mentioned before, i have been assigned to make promotional package everyday at least one package per day. As for today, i choose to post the poster that i already made yesterday. 

Besides posting the poster, i also manage to learn on how to open google business account so that it can help us in order to promote our package. 

Work Process:

Title: Answering call (Change Date). 

For to day i have gained another knowledge about postponing the date of flight. I got a call from one of our customer that wanted to postponing their flight date to tomorrow. Their flight supposed to be this evening at 5pm. 

So for this case, the customer cannot postpone the flight because the procedure to postpone the flight is to inform us 2 days earlier from the departure date. In this case, his flight was today at 5 pm so it can't be postponed. 

Customer also asked about refund. First tasks for today is to manage customer that wanted to check their visa validity and wanted to make another visa Australia application for her friend. She wanted to use the same visa for her trip next month.

Work Process: 
1. Check the validity date for the customer's visa.
2. Tell her that her visa still valid until 6 Oct 2019 and her visa is multiple entry visa, so she still can use the visa for next month.
3. Asked her to prepare all the visa Australia application requirement like:

    - Identification Card
    - Phone number
    - Email.
4. Make a photocopy for her friend passport and IC. 
5. Customer make payment by cash (RM50)
6. Give customer purchase receipt.

*** If the visa rejected, we will refund RM40 and take RM10 for service charges.

Besides that, i also manage to sold 1 flight ticket to customer (KUL-CGK). For this ticket i need to booked according to the details of flight that has been given by the customer.

Besides that, i also manage to sell 2 flight tickets for today. I use Air Asia Web for both ticketing process. This is because, both of the customer preferred Air Asia Airline than other airline. The Destination for the first ticket sold is from Kuala Lumpur to Surabaya. Meanwhile the second one is return ticket which is from Kuala Lumpur to Medan (Kualanamu) and back to Kuala Lumpur.

Title: Selling Package (5D4N Ching Mai + Chiang Rai)

From both package in 17 May, I have managed to sell one of the packages. I managed to close deal with Mr. Selver (Chiang Mai). He came again today to meet me and close the deal. 

Payment Process:
1. Asked him either he wanted to pay cash or transfer the money online.
2. Gave him the account number because he wanted to transfer the money.
3. Asked them to send the payment prove before i proceed to issue him the receipt. 
4. Check the transaction online by log in to the account.
5. Make receipt and issued it.
6. Asked them to come tomorrow for their confirmation voucher. 

Total payment for his package is RM1300. It is because he choose CH Hotel for their accommodation. 

After finished with Mr. Selver, i called Boundless Journey to inform them about the purchased package and booked hotel with them, unfortunately  the hotel that Mr.Selver wanted already fully booked. So i need to call him back and inform him about the hotel and suggest other hotel. and he agreed to booked another hotel. Thus he need to pay another Rm65 each pax which in total RM130.
