By late afternoon, we all found ourselves gathered at the bus station in Pińczów, right in the heart of the picturesque Świętokrzyskie region. Even from the window, we could already spot the rolling hills and lush green landscapes – a promising view of what’s ahead. 🌿🏞️

From there, a private bus took us to our home for the week: Agroturystyka Sabat Bełk – a peaceful rural retreat far away from the noise (and from mobile signal 😉). Nestled among forests and fields, this place welcomed us with fresh air, the sounds of birds, and... a whole bunch of friendly animals 🐱🐶 – including tiny kittens that instantly stole our hearts.

After a long journey, we shared a delicious dinner (pancakes! 🥞💛), followed by our first activity together. We formed a circle and played a light introductory game to get to know each other – each of us wore a sticky note with two true facts and one lie about ourselves. The guessing began! Laughter, curiosity, and a few surprising revelations made for a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

It was a long and tiring day, but full of good energy and promise. We headed to bed with excitement for what tomorrow will bring. 🌙✨

Then came our first group adventure: a quest to save a princess using magical stones! 🧙‍♀️💎 Behind the fairytale twist was a deeper goal – building trust, exploring group dynamics, and discovering the roles we naturally take on when working together.

Suddenly… 🎶 Mission: Impossible theme music filled the room, and a new challenge was born! We had just 50 minutes to complete a wild set of tasks: filming creative videos, taking themed photos, inventing a project logo, and even composing a project anthem! 🎬📸🎵 The room was buzzing with collaboration, ideas, and a good dose of adrenaline.

In between the action-packed games, we also filled in important Erasmus+ documentation 📄, established our group rules 🧭, shared our fears, expectations, and contributions during this experience. 🧠🤲

Later, each of us drew a self-portrait, which we attached to an envelope marked with our name. These are now our personal "mailboxes" 📬💌 – where our Secret Friends will drop small surprises, notes of kindness, and encouragement throughout the week. At the end of the project, we’ll find out who has been secretly looking out for us!

The evening ended just right: bonfire-grilled sausages, good conversations, and an integration evening full of laughter 🔥🌭. The weather, however, had other plans – each hour brought more clouds, and by nightfall, rain and distant thunder reminded us that we’re truly off the grid (yes, even the WiFi surrendered 😅).

What a day! We’re learning, laughing, and growing – together.

We walked on others' shoes and reflected on how life can change according to the place you lived, your network, your wealth, and other factors and how it makes us feel to see those differences (comparing to each other and to our own lifes).

But what if we had the opportunity to be on the European Parliament for a day? 🇪🇺 How would we take care of different needs, prioritise, negotiate, and make decisions? ⚖ And what happens when consensus is not achieved? What are the factors affecting the consensus? It's definitely not an easy task to be a politician and make decisions 🫣 but hurray, we did it 🫂

And so our journey of today ends with just one question: WHO KILLED ALICE? PLEASE! WE NEED TO KNOW.

In the morning, we continued with a creative storytelling workshop, where we rewrote classic fairytales. This eye-opening activity helped us recognize how deeply stereotypes are woven into familiar stories—and how we have the power to change the narrative.

In the afternoon, we explored the powerful Theatre of Oppressed method. We worked in groups to prepare scenes based on real-life situations of discrimination we’ve faced. It was a moving experience that fostered empathy, awareness, and mutual support.

In the evening, we simply enjoyed each other’s company, laughed, and played cards—ending the day with warmth, joy, and a stronger sense of community.

Groups 5 to 8 stopped at a separate location about 12 kilometers into the route. Along the way there were birds, ducks, butterflies, dragonflies and Hassan saw a snake.

Giovanna ended up steering herself and Feroz into one of the grass sides of the riverside covering him in bugs.

Ashwyn fell into the river at one of the deeper sections, panicking, resulting in him losing his glasses.

Morgana and Hassan also flipped over while Toseef and Letiza were spinning out of control while on a cigarette break.

Only the first 4 groups completed it as it was very challenging however we were all very proud and happy that we were able to do this activity.

While we were out Kayaking, the rest of the group visited a river.

Later that evening Poland, Croatia and Hungary had their cultural presentations.

Hungary 🇭🇺 - Ashwyn, Sufiyan, Isaac and Toseef

Hungary - We did a Kahoot quiz and learnt about their traditional meat stew called Goulash and about their love for paprika.

Croatia - We had an reenactment of Sinjska alka, a traditional game which celebrates the victory of Croatia over Turkiye even though they (the Croatians) were outnumbered.

Poland - We learnt about wedding traditions such as dancing, gifts and games played. We drank homemade alcohol and enjoyed local snacks .

Between 1 and 2 am a group of participants decided to star gaze and sleep outside.

The horses and dogs did find us weird but they were good company.

The teams came up with creative and thought-provoking energisers that not only got everyone moving and participating but also helped set the tone for the deeper discussions to follow. Each group then presented their own activities, which highlighted different forms of discrimination and allowed participants to reflect on the impact of oppression in everyday life.

The session was both educational and enjoyable. It fostered teamwork, empathy, and open dialogue among participants. Overall, it was a fun and meaningful experience that successfully combined learning with collaboration.

These days were amazing. We had a lot of fun, we learned from others, and we also taught others. That’s the main point of our video to show that we all have differences. We all have so many things to share and be proud of.

This video was made with love, creativity, and lots of fun. Marteej, Sufyan, Neven, Fabio, and I Roberto hope you enjoy it as much as we did. My heart doesn’t have the words to express how proud I am of us, for having the courage to embark on this adventure.

Thanks to Katka, Jazmin, and Annia you were amazing trainers. The agrotouristic place in Pińczów was such a great place to stay and spend 10 days with all of you! For some of us, it was our first project and we did it! We gained so much in so many different ways. Juanito, Kashia, and Antonio our little pets the nights sleeping under the stars, the afternoons complaining about how tired we were, the volleyball games, the Gringo game and even Dominos, the cold showers, the minibus from Kraków, and the eggs for lunch all of that was part of the experience, and we should be grateful for it.

Pinczów Family — 2025/07/22.

We kicked things off with a creative mission: making the project visible through social media. We split into energetic teams and got to work crafting short vlogs, behind-the-scenes clips, and powerful videos that captured the essence of our ten days together. Laughter echoed through the rooms, camera phones were everywhere, and yet, by the time we watched each other's creations, tears had started to fall. Some of the videos were so honest and moving that they touched something deep inside us. We realized just how much we had grown together.

Later, we shifted gears but kept the joy alive with a hilarious and heartwarming recap of the entire project. Through improvised sketches and creative re-enactments, we relived each day from the icebreakers to the deepest workshops. Laughter roared through the room as we remembered inside jokes, challenges, and victories. Each short scene was a love letter to the experiences we shared.

But the most emotional part of the day came as we walked the “Love Corridor.” One by one, we passed through a pathway of friends, all whispering kind words, encouragement, and gratitude into our ears. It was pure magic. Tears welled up again, not out of sadness, but from the overwhelming feeling of love and connection.

To top it all off, we handed out Youthpasses, each one personally delivered to our “secret friend,” who had been supporting us quietly throughout the course. There were endless hugs, photos, and kind words floating in every direction. It felt like time had slowed down, giving us the chance to soak in the moment.

We will miss each other immensely, but what we’ve built here will last far beyond the goodbye hugs. This wasn’t just a training course. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And as we go back to our homes and our lives, a part of each other will go with us.
