The poem O Me! O Life gave me a reaction of both sadness and relaxation. I realized that many people have experienced the same The poem "O Me! O Life" to me is talking about how humans get so caught up in thinking about how they will be judged and viewed by others that it ultimately stops them from reaching their full potential. This portion of the quote "Of poor results of all, of the plodding and sordid crowds I see around me" made me react in a sad relatable way. I related to this portion of the quote on a deeper level because of how anxious I am as a person, the quote made me realize how easy it is to feel unwanted and judged. During the movie, I reacted happily to the boys working together and following the legacy of the dead poet's society, but as the movie came to an end my reaction turned sad and angry. I was shocked and surprised that Neil ended up being the one to commit suicide because of how well he had started, he had a great legacy and was doing really well n school, but as the movie continued I realized that it was coming when his father forbids him from following his dreams of acting.

I contribute my kindness, passion, and love to this world. Lately, I've had to learn that there is truly no real definition to perfect and that you have to love yourself before anyone else can. Finding what I'm passionate about and looking at life through a different perspective has made me realize how difficult it really is to fit in with society's expectations, which has to lead me to contribute what I love and care about to the world.
