Dear Susan, I can only say what a privilege it’s been to work with you , and also to thankyou for your support . It’s been a great comfort to me to know that if I’ve ever needed any help you’ve always been there.No matter what you’ve got on, I can always rely on you for a friendly chat and you just checking that all’s well. How am I going to organise my social life( once were allowed one again) without you telling me “ what’s on!!” And raining to book tickets. Delighted that we’ve shared many happy memories along the way and I look forward to many more in the future. All the best back in the UK and keep in touch.

Wow - we've been through so many chapters at the BC! And I'm so glad I've had the chance to move from getting to know you as a good colleague to feeling that you are a true friend for life. You MUST stay in touch, or else! Heee heee - kidding. Excited to find out how the next chapter goes...

Susan, thank you so much for your support, professionalism and all of your insights as to how to run some of the trainings. With your departure, your experience and institutional knowledge will be a huge loss to the team. I will think of you every time I use Brene Brown or think of the Gold Coast! Hopefully you can take some time for yourself before starting a new project.

You are of course quite indispensable. For starters, there isn’t a workshop that you can’t and haven’t delivered and some of them at very short notice too!

I have always admired your calm confidence in a crisis and your resilience in overcoming the inevitable challenges that are the lot of a PDC trainer. I have watched you build engagement not just in your workshops but also in the PDC and across all the other centres.

You genuinely care about people and are always willing to give up your time to help others. Not only have all of us in the PDC benefited from this generosity but also, through your Teachers Rep work, colleagues across Singapore. Through a combination of fairness, positivity and bucket loads of empathy, you have helped so many teachers and trainers negotiate first the restructuring of Adults English and then the carnage wrought by the pandemic.

I know you have enjoyed your 20 years in Singapore to the max and I hope that you have an equally fulfilling time wherever you choose to go next.

So many memories!!

Susan, where to start? Whether it's drinks and dinner at the Intercontinental, or drinks in the foyer of somewhere Dubai, a farewell at the Shangri La, my endearing memory of you were the constant plans you had on the boil for luxuriating somewhere and just thoroughly enjoying life in Singapore and on trips away!

But, as we've shared often, change is an inevitability and it's only the start of a fab new chapter. The planes will be flying again soon enough, so I do expect our paths will cross again.

You were a great colleague and are a great friend. I do appreciate keeping in touch and sharing the wisdom and the understanding and care you lavishly share.
We'll just have to reschedule the time zoning for the calls eh!

You were the first trainer I observed when I was new to PDC and learning the ropes. Since then it's been an amazing journey working with you.

I have so many memories of us sharing a laugh, chatting over lunch and collaborating on work stuff. If I was stuck, I knew I could count on you for some useful advice. You've been a great friend and a huge source of support. I will miss your calm confident presence so much., Susan.

I do hope to keep in touch as we have always done. All the best for this new chapter back home. Lots of love and best wishes!

Dear Susan, thank you for your help, support and for always making me laugh (I love your sense of humour :)!).

Remember the dinner we had while we were both training in Kuwait? Those were the days :)...

I have learnt so much from you, I can't picture the PDC without you...

You have always been so kind and helpful, thank you very much...

Wishing you all the very best, and, who knows, we might meet again somewhere in Europe (maybe go to a concert?) - wouldn't that be wonderful...
