I take interests in this medias since it piques my interests. I like competitive games, interacting with other people that has the same interests as me, and I love all kinds of music. Skincare and makeup has largely been influenced by media especially TikTok.

This media influences me in good ways. Despite the fact that fandoms I am part in are somewhat inherently toxic, I have learned lessons that real life people could not teach me. I saw experiences (both fictional and nonfiction) that served as guides for me. I learned knowledge and saw beliefs that people in real life that are close to me would deem it "wrong". I took comfort in media that was so relatable for me, since there are times in my life that my loved ones doesn't understand how I feel. I learned how mistakes are made but I also learned the ugly parts of the world.
