Conflict Theory:
During this year of hockey is when I first noticed how expensive hockey is. One of my teammates was a less wealthy family, and as a result a lot of his equipment was old and second hand. This taught me a lot about how money affects peoples because this teammate was obviously insecure about the equipment he was using. This year we also lost another teammate because he was unable to buy new equipment to play.

Feminist Theory: 
On my soccer team this year was the first time I had really noticed the girls on my team were starting to fall behind in terms of the boys. Not that they couldnt do anything, just that they had to put it a lot of work, and while we had a lot of male talent on the team, female talent was much more rare to come by. This started conflict because I felt the girls were being given a lot of leway in terms of how they were playing, and they werent expected to do the same amount of work in a game. Continued playing soccer, no league wins or anything worth mentioning. 

Interactionist Theory:
During this time in my soccer career, I was called up multiple times to play in the year above me. This is when I earned the nickname "the BOW" otherwise known as "the Beast On Wheels" because I just ran everywhere all the time. Because of this, I really pushed myself to be that type of player that was everywhere at once, and to be the best player I could be. They expected me to be the player that would run the ball up the entire side of the field, cross it, and set up my team perfectly for a goal. Met 2 players that really liked working with me, and it was my first inspirational experience with esports and leadership. 

Functionalist Theory:
My job on the team as a coach and a player gave me a lot of insight to how much work you can really do in situations where your the only one doing the work you're supposed to be doing. Each of our team members had a responsibility which were never done aside from a few exceptions.
