Milton Hershey was a hard working man who created the largest chocolate factory and so much more. Milton started his career in an ice cream shop where he experimented with different types of candies. He moved on to create caramels and eventually a successful chocolate business. He loved his chocolate factory and workers so much that he built his own town with lamp posts that look like Hershey Kisses, a zoo, a theme park, a general store, and a school. After his wife Kitty died, Milton gave all the stock he had in the Hershey Chocolate Company to the school. He did this to make sure the school would be successful and last even after he was gone. After Milton passed away, his company has continued to be successful. They now own candies such as Ice Breakers Mints, Jolly Ranchers, Reese’s Peanut Butter and Twizzlers.

I Gabe Stuit would give this book 4 1\2 stars. Mainly because I think Milton Hershey is a very successful candy maker and very unique as other candies are not a very large company. I didn’t choose 5stars because it is a very basic book. Overall though, I think this book is a good book with a fantastic subject.
