This national park has some of the largest volcanoes in North America. Also, it has an incredible diversity of animals #snowbirds. It's size is nearly 13.2   million acres which is the same size as Yellowstone Nat. Park, Yosemite Nat. Park, and Switzerland combined. It rises from the ocean to 18,008 feet. Here you will find Bryce Canyon, you will get lost in its marvelous beauty. It may look just like the Grand Canyon but trust me it isn't. It is located in southern Utah where temperatures reach -5 degrees F at night. You can professionally bungee jump from the top of the canyon. Hot Spring National Park can be found in the north end on the city of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Water. That's what first attracted people  and they have been visiting this park to heal and relax.  There's a lot of things that can be found here. If someone only has an hour they can tour the historic Fordyce Bathhouse . If you have half of the day you can visit the bathhouses, visit the store and stroll. In 1864, Yosemite was officially recognized by the government as a National Park. Abraham Lincoln signed the Yosemite Grant, placing it under the protection of the state of California. Today, the park offers backpacking, biking, boating, tours, rock climbing, a back country resort, and much more. Its largest feature is the iconic Half-Dome, a large mountain resembling, well, half of a dome. An active volcano rising 14, 410 feet above sea level, Mount Rainier is one of Washington's most treasured landscapes. Rainier is the most glaciated peak in the US, spawning 6 major rivers. Crater Lake National Park is in the Cascade Mountains in Oregon.  It was formed by a collapsed volcano called Mount Mazama. It was established in 1902. It is the 5th oldest national park. It is also the deepest, with the lake being 1949 feet deep.
