<title>Perhaps establish a system for video taping...THEY watch, mark a rubric, and provide feedback. Might require some initial training / set up, but could use phones, borrow camera and tripod from TV, use the new, fancy RESA thing</title>

<title>Fishbowl technique: Give class a brief set of rubric criteria. Issue a speaking prompt. Pairs practice prompt; class &quot;fishbowls&quot; feedback per rubric criteria. Reflect; move quickly to next pair.</title>

<title>Small Group Assessment - I used to do this with socratic seminars. For half of the period, half of the class discusses while the other class silently observes/critiques, and then switch. Students prepare for discussion beforehand with provided questions. Using half at a time, gives the teacher opportunity to listen to all students participate. I&#39;d suggest splitting your block class in half, so it is easier to manage in a smaller setting.</title>

<title>Create an instant feedback &quot;Assignment&quot; where you put your immediate thoughts (1-5) on the presentation so students at least know how they have done in terms of presenting/being in front of the class. These scores could be small but also give you a quick way to remember how well they presented, disregarding content. I sometimes put in immediate grades using an ipad as my students are at the board using my computer. </title>
