Some people believe that it is paramount important to teach the kids to be competitive. Whereas, others think that cooperation and team working are more necessary. From my perspective, teaching a child how to cooperate and work in a team is more important.

First and foremost, school is the best place for a child to learn useful skills such as: working in a team, leading a group and communicating. These skills are useful for their overall development now and their work then. Therefore, students are taught and given a chance to practice before officially graduating.

Competition has a variety of benefits as well. For starters, working alone is more comfortable than working in a group. They are not required to argue with their classmates. Second, when working alone, they must complete all tasks independently. For example, such duties could include gathering and analyzing data, creating a report, and giving a class presentation. They obtain new experiences and information as a result of this.
