It has the following characteristics: (1) distinct subjectivity, the scientific method embodies the initiative, creativity and obvious purpose of the scientific cognitive subject, and (2) it is fully in line with the regularity. it is the procedure of scientific knowledge with theoretical laws as the main body. What is scientific method?
A process of finding out the truth through experimentation and obeservation.

2.
-Observation
Jars with no lid and gauzed-covered attract flies and maggots

-Ask a question
Where do the flies come from? Does rotten meat produce the flies?

-Hypothesis
Rotten meat does not produce flies. Only flies produce flies.

-Experiment
Using the experiment in the lecture slide

-Analyze data
The jar without the lid have flies entering the jar and more maggots. The jar covered with gauze have maggots and flies observed on the gauze. In the sealed jar, no flies and maggots are entering the jar.

-Present your result
Rotten meat is the source of the flies. In the uncovered jar, flies entered and laid eggs on the meat. Maggots hatched from the eggs and grew into adult flies. For the gauze-covered jar, the same thing happened except that the flies did not lay eggs on the meat, they laid eggs on the gauze instead which produce maggots. Meanwhile in the sealed jar, no flies and maggots could enter hence none were seen in those jars.

3. Exit slip
- I have learned that flies laid eggs and form maggots straight on the meat.

- We could use these steps of scientific method to find the typical things that happen in our daily lives.

-so far, I have no questions
