Then the document goes on into the ideas of Jean- Jacques Rousseau when it says, "Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, -That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it...," and the document continues on to express his ideas of the government deriving all of their power from the people and that the people can over throw the government if need be. </div>]]></description>

But then when we reach the end of the document, we can see a lot of Jean Jacques Rousseau's ideas.  The one statement that really shows Rousseau would be "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations...it is their right, it is their duty to throw off such government".  This shows Rousseau as Rousseau said that when government gets to tyrannical, the people should overthrow the government.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe that the Declaration of Independence was plagiarized,  the enlightenment thinker John Locke's ideology of natural born rights was stated in this document when it said "they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."  It also highlights Rousseau's ideas about government and their people, this is shown in the following  quote "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it."</div>]]></description>

Later on you see the ideas Rousseau had about government. Such as were the government should be able to hold and use that power and how the people are able to reject that power.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe that the Declaration of Independence was plagarized off enlightenment thinkers John Locke and Rousseau. John Locke's idea of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is represented within the first sentence of the Declaration. Now, Rousseau rejected almost all forms of government but he did support the idea of a community based on choice of all citizens (like the democratic government in America today) which is represented towards the end of the first section of the Declaration. Thomas Jefferson writes in the Declaration of the peoples right to abolish a government if actions occur that affect their freedom and that is much of what Rousseau had ideas of when he was thinking of his form of government. So yes, I do believe the Declaration was plagiarized. </div>]]></description>
