Teaching isn't about implementing your own agenda in my opinion. My preferences about teaching rely on growth from the students, so I would vary my teaching styles in a way to maximize development from my kids.

Goals as an Educator

Instead of going into education looking for tangible results I hope to help mold the kids for the long term. No matter what level I teach at I believe creating a connection with the students and engaging them into the work, whether they have a passion for it or not is the best way to get them set up for things later in life

Classroom Culture

As someone who grew up playing sports I think looking at your peers is the best way to draw motivation from students. I hope to get my kids to buy into the teaching style I will create for them and positively compete not to get a higher test score then their classmate, but to put forth their best effort in getting better each day

Student Assessment and Evaluation

Building integrity and morality in my classroom will always be apart of my hidden agenda. Although you cannot put a grade on something so arbitrary, the grades will be a reflection on growth and effort seen throughout my time with the students. I will allow the students to have input in grades and listen to their judgement on how they have demonstrated their abilities.
