       SPCA Selangor receives 1,100 animals from dogs to rabbits every month.

 

4.     Where to spend and Why

 

1. Rescuing and providing homes for dogs and cats

2. Educating people to treat all animals with love

3. Spray-neuter program

4. Providing medicine for dogs and cats

5. Feeding dogs and cats

 

We rescued and received a total of 3,977 animals from the streets, irresponsible or abusive owners and backyard breeders in 2014

 

 

5.     Goals & Urgent need

 

1.     Protect defenseless animals and to alleviate their suffering

2.     Lobby the Government for humane treatment of animals and harsher penalties for perpetrators of crimes against animals

6.     Why buy good education equipments but not good academicians

 

SPCA Selangor is frequently invited to conduct educational programs in kindergartens, schools, colleges and offices. We try to make their learning time as fun and exciting as possible so that they are best able to remember their time and the discussed topics at hand

·         The Spay and Neuter Program is a low cost and high volume program which provides subsidies for spay-neuter services for animals. Spaying and neutering is a proactive measure that stops the overpopulation crisis and will help to decrease the stray animal population. Spaying and Neutering gives animals a lot of health benefits.
