When Courtney was younger she aspired to be a vet or doctor like most children, however a major event in her life changed that mindset very quickly. The birth of her niece was not that of a usual one. She has two siblings, an older sister and an older brother. She went to college at Gannon University in Erie, PA. She went to Gannon for their phenomenal PA program.  Now what made her chose the PA program is nothing ordinary. When her niece was born something was wrong.  The child was born with Newborn Respiratory Distress Syndrome, or in other words she was not able to breathe on her own.  The experience of this event changed her entire outlook on life.  Seeing how much the doctors, nurses, and everyone involved helped and worked together to make sure her niece was healthy inspired her. At that moment she realized that she wanted to get into the medical field for good.  Becoming a PA seemed like the perfect choice for her and it surely was.

Now was it the most paying? No, but that is life, she knew with enough work and patience she would make it big, and she did just that.  Throughout her career as a PA, she grew and learned more and more as the years went on to perfect her craft. She said herself that she is a perfectionist and the way she did her job it seemed just like it. She learned how to help all types of people, in the same way the doctors and nurses had helped hers. She was able to create her on business and became very successful. Once people saw how much her company was growing, many large medical companies wanted to buy in.  Courtney was able to sell the company for a lot of money (the amount remains disclosed to this day). Now later near the end of her career she is where she wants to be in life.  Living in the Carolinas like she had always wanted, lots of money, and has a few pets.

Something else that is good will always come out of it. For Courtney that was her entire career. Being able to help people like she had wanted after seeing all the people who helped her niece whenever she was born.  Courtneys niece changed her world so she went and changed the lives of many.
