Sherlock Holmes is presented the case and he is the detective figuring it out.

Holmes spends 24 hours trying to figure out what to do with Sir Henry.

Sherlock Holmes can't examine the seen but keeps on looking for evidence

Sherlock is suspicious of Barrymore because he was the butler and inherited some money.

He was also very suspicious of a stalker who was watching Sir Henry.

Hugo was an old rich guy who Sir Charles descended from.

An old family legend says that one day he was kidnapping a maiden for romance purposes

The Maiden escaped but was found dead later, killed by exhaustion. As Hugo was examining the body, a ginormous hound came out of nowhere and killed him and some of his men.

This was the whole plot of the story, the book revolves around this legend.

The hound is suspected to be a ghost and Hugo was killed by something supernatural

Sir Charles was a rich, kind man who spread his wealth among people and was loved around the world.

He lived in the time of Sherlock and dies recently.

The book is also based if his death, and Sir Henry inherits his mansion and the Barrymores inherit a little.

They are trying to find out who killed him, how he died, and why he died.

There was little people who witnessed his death so that made the case very hard and interesting, but also narrowed down the suspects.

Dr Mortimer is the one who presents the case to Sherlock.

Mortimer is a suspect because he does inherit some money.

Mr Mortimer also goes with Henry and Watson to the Hall, before he leaves shortly.

He also has insider knowledge on the Baskerville legend.

Mortimer sees a lot of the evidence from the death

Baskerville is one of the last alive Baskervilles

He is supposed to inherit around 800k dollars (not in todays money)

Henry is the nephew of Sir Charles who previously lived in America

He goes to Baskerville Hall with Watson and Mortimer to examine and talk to Barrymore.
