Prior to graduating from Princeton University, Melissa Vale was a FORD model and actress who appeared in more than 30 commercials and had a lead role on Broadway in Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs. Upon graduation, she returned to New York City and began working as a freelance writer and consultant for prestigious magazines and other publications. In addition to her freelance work, Melissa Vale works as a real estate agent for Douglas Elliman in New York City. She stays current with housing trends by attending open houses and new development unveilings, as well as preparing comps and market reports for her clients. In addition, she belongs to the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). She also remains involved with several charities with local ties. She headed the Young Partners in Conservation, which is a junior group for the World Wildlife Fund. The group strives to get young supporters and promotes fundraising events.
