The teacher said that the school party was going to be cancelled because there was a problem with the heating system.  It turned out that there was nothing wrong with the  heating system, someone had just turned down the heat.  It was nothing but a hill of beans. 

He was happy as a clam when he found out his family were going to Disney World for vacation.

When the principal decided that the students had to line up outside the classroom before coming into the classroom the children were very upset and complained to their parents and teachers.  As they were lining up, the principal said that he wanted them to line up in alphabetical order and that the firls were to be at the back of the line!  This made the students even more upset and added fuel to the fire.  

The man worked around the clock to finish the project that his boss said had to be finished by 9 o'clock in the morning.

The little boy told his dad that he had just found a million dollars at the back day.  His dad said, "are you pulling my leg?"
