T: Out of the three awards here, the award that I would like to receive most will be the award for the Most Helpful student.

R: This is because being able to help others always bring me a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. I truly enjoy making a difference by simply reaching out to someone in need. Receiving this award would serve as a proof of my efforts and motivate me to continue to lend a helping hand to whoever in need.

E: There was once when I saw a wallet lying on the ground on my way home from school. Instead of just ignoring it, I picked it up and looked inside. Thankfully the owner's contact details was written inside. I knew what to do because I have learnt about honesty and helping others.

E: I took it home and told my parents about it. With the help of my parents, I managed to contact the owner of the wallet and returned his wallet. He was really relieved and thankful! Seeing his joy made me feel really happy as well.

S: Receiving this award means that I'm not just thinking about myself, but also about how I can help others too. It's a wonderful feeling to know that my kindness and helpfulness are appreciated by others.

T: I have received the award for Model Pupil of the Month of my class.

R: I believe that being kind to everyone around me, which includes both my classmates and teachers is important. Kindness makes the world a better place and can make people feel happy and appreciated.

E: Receiving this award affirm my efforts and motivated me to be even more mindful of my actions.

E: We can start by being kind to our classmates which will help create a positive and friendly environment where everyone feels included and valued. Be kind to our teachers, show them respect and appreciation for all the hard work they do to help us learn and grow.

T: My favourite teacher is Miss Tan.

R: She is enthusiastic about teaching Math and always finds different ways to make her lessons interesting. too.

E: For example, she always makes us try out the challenging questions on our own before going through the answers with us. She encourages her students to do their best and believe in their abilities.

E: She often tries to understand our feelings, perspectives and treats all of us fairly.

S: Her passion inspires me to be interested in Math.

R: This is because I put in a lot of effort into my work and I always make sure I am on the correct track doing the correct thing. So getting this award will boost my confidence and encourage me to continue being hard working.

E: One time, after I was done with my English test since there was extra time I checked my work to see if there was any errors. I made some errors in my work so I fixed them.

E: I studied for all my English test but also Math, Mother Tongue and Science too. In the end, I was happy with my grades.

S: Always put effort into your work and do not give up!

T: I have received the award for Model Pupil of the Month for my class in Primary 2.

R: I was hardworking and I never gave up! even when the work was hard I never gave up and still tried to do my best.

E: When I first received the award I was shocked and happy at the same time I felt like all my efforts have finally paid off. It also motivated me to continue this attitude and never give up!

E: First we can start by never giving up and always doing our best but we also have to play other roles like integrity, empathy kindness and others! To ensure a safe and positive environment where no one should feel unappreciated and not valued.

S: A few good deeds can make a big difference in the world.

T: My favourite teacher is Ms Atiqah.

R: She is very patient and kind.

E: For example, she takes time to help us understand the question and explains to us slowly. She never scolds us if we don't know or understand certain things in class.

E: She tries to make sure that all her students are following her teaching in class.

S: She inspires me to be as patient and kind as her.

T: Yes, I would like to receive these awards. Out of the 3 awards, the one that I wanted to receive most is "most harmonious" award.

R: I would like to receive "most harmonious" award because I can get along well with my friends and people around me. They can interact comfortably with me and enjoy my company.

E: There was once when two of my classmates were having an argument over a wallet that they found on the floor. Both of them were arguing who should take this wallet to General Office. They started to shout at each other. Without wasting a second, I ran over to stop them from quarrelling. E: They stopped quarrelling and apologised to each other after my intervention. In the end, both of them brought the wallet to General Office and returned together. They promised each other not to fight or argue over trivial matters. Seeing this really make me feel delighted.

S: Receiving this award means I am not just thinking about myself but also helping to bring peace to others.

T: Yes, I have received the award for Model Pupil of the month for my class in Primary 2.

R: I felt delighted that I was chosen as the Model Pupil of the month,and that my kindness and sincerity are being valued and appreciated by my teachers and classmates.

E: For example, there was once when my friend tripped and fell,he injured his knee. I helped him up and brought him to General Office to get his wound cleaned and dressed.

E: My friend thanked me for that, I felt a sense of satisfaction when I am able to help others in need.

S: I suggest that we have to be kind and generous to each other. We can share love and kindness with others through kind acts such as a smile, a nice and encouraging word or an unexpected deed.

T: My favourite teacher is my mother tongue teacher, Madam Lim.

R: I like her because she is friendly, patient and shows dedication in her teachings.

E: For example, there was once I did not understand some of the questions of worksheet, she explained to me patiently and make sure I understood fully.

E: She will also teach us Chinese in a more engaging way by using fun method like show and tell, playing game.

S: Her passion and dedication inspires me to be interested in Chinese.

T: Yes, I would like to receive these awards because the recognition motivates me to do even better.

R: I would want to receive the most harmonious award because l get along with others very well and I like to see my friends be happily living together in harmony.

E: For example, two of my classmates were having a disagreement on who should get to read an interesting book last week. I heard them starting to raise their voices at each other and I came over to stop them from quarelling.

E: After my intervention, they both aplogised to each other and decided to take turns to read the book and continue being friends. We all realised that it is important to share and be gracious.

S: I suggest that everyone to not have quarrels over trivial matters and to live harmoniously with each other.

T: Yes, l have received the edusave certificate of learning achievement award.

R: I felt happy that my hard work and good behaviour have been recognised by my teachers and friends.

E: For example, when I was at the school canteen I saw a wallet lying on the seat. I brought it to the general office so that the rightful owner can get his/her wallet back.

E: I felt good to be honest and provide an opportunity for the wallet to be returned to the rightful owner. If I were to lose my wallet, I would feel sad and wish that someone would return it back to me as well.

S: I suggest that people return items that they found as the rightful owner would be happy to receive it back.

T: I like my English and Science teacher, Ms Atiqah.

R: I like Ms Atiqah because she is very caring and helpful.

E: For instance, there was once I did not understand a question during Science lesson, Ms Atiqah was very patient and took the time to explain the question to me till I understand.

E: This made me feel good and more confident as I now know how to go about answering such questions in the future.

S: I recommend that all teachers be caring and patient when explaining questions to students.

R: I would like to receive it because I have made many friends in school, and get along with them.

E: For instance, there was once when I changed seats and I made a new friend with my table partner only in a few days. I got along with her very well too.

E: Last Tuesday, during recess, I played a lot of games with her at the netball court. It was very enjoyable to play with a friend.

S: I recommend that to keep a harmonious relationship with a friend, you can talk about your similarities and differences.

Q b: I have received a lot of awards one time,I remember I won student of the month I was so happy my friends cheered for me as I walked to receive my certificate. They gave me hi five as I walked back to my seat.

Q c:My favourite teachers are miss atiqah and miss bai.They are my favourite teachers I like miss atiqah because she helps and explain to me when I don’t understand a question. I like miss bai because during d2C she helped me and my group by giving us suggestions to make our game better.

R:This is because if we are helpful and it shows that we are a good person.If we help others,we will be happy and the person we help will be happy too.

E: When I was primary one,I help somebody to login into the computer.But when I wanted to logout I did not know how to do it .The same person realised it and she helped me.I was very grateful.

E:In school,if you see a wallet on the canteen table,bring it to the general office.

S: Winning awards will make people happy.But if you win don’t show off to much.

R: that's because I help a lot of people and get the award

E: getting a reward is like you done great things and got awarded with this

S: to encourage the students

In Primary One, I won the Pupil of the Month award in Term 2 as I was helpful and I worked hard. It made me feel very happy because it showed that I was one of the best students in that term.

R: I think this is because I showed kindness towards other people. I also think showing kindness is a good behaviour as it includes being helpful.It is good to be kind as the people around you won’t hate you.

E: I was surprised when the teacher called me.It was very embarrassing as it was my first month and year.

E: To win awards,we need to show respect to everyone around us.We also need to have emphatic ,it means to show care.

S: If we win awards,don’t show off to much.

R: This is because she is kind and patient.

E: There was times that Ms Atiqah stops as somebody was taking.

E: She has a point system and that will encourage us to behave.

S: Hopefully more teachers will be more kind.

R: This is because being hardworking help me to  Succeed in school,sports and other activities it will also set a positive example for others to follow

E: Last year I completed all my homework on time, ask questions when I didn’t understand and studied hard.

E: I learn that hard work can bring positive outcomes.As I received $100 from the goverment as I showed improvement in my studies:D.

S: I believe continuous effort is the way for anyone to achieve their goals.

T: I have received the award for Model Pupil of the Month of February last year for my class.

R: I believe that being awarded hardworking help me put in more effort in class work

E: Receiving this award affirm my efforts and motivated me to be even more dedicated and motivated of my actions.

E: We can start by being determined which help achieve our goals.

S:  I believe asking my teachers for help will help me better understand my work and to manage time to complete schoolwork/work given to me is important so that I can work hard to complete my work.

T: My favourite teacher is Mrs Pereira

R: I chose her because she teaches math and give the students fun things to do even tho she doesn’t have to do it but she knows we like it so she does it.

E: For example, she bought textbook with activities inside of it for everyone.

E: She often tries to understand our feelings, perspectives and treats all of us fairly.

S: Her passion inspires me to be interested in Math.

T: Out of the three awards, the one that I would like to receive is the ‘Most Helpful’ award. R: This is because knowing that I can make a difference and bring a smile on people’s faces makes me happy.

E: For example, when I observe that someone looks distressed, I will not hesitate to approach them to ask if they need help. In school, when I notice that my classmate is having challenges resolving Maths questions, I will offer my help to guide him.

E: Last week, when I was playing with my siblings in the playground, I saw a little girl crying. I asked if she was alright and she shared that she was in pain as she slipped and fell over a toy. I asked for her name and immediately ran around looking for her parents. Luckily, her mother was nearby and attended to her. The girl’s mother thanked me for alerting her. I felt happy and relieved that I managed to help.

S: Being there for others brings me immense joy. We should always be kind and look out for others.

T: I received the first prize for Tamil singing competition last year.

R: I believe this was because of the hard work I put in. When you work hard, you become better at what you do and this helps to achieve your goals.

E: When my Tamil teacher announced that I won the first prize, I could not believe my ears. I was ecstatic! It reminded me that hard work always pays off.

E: I remember when I started practising my choice of song, I struggled pronouncing certain Tamil words. I also kept forgetting the lyrics. I almost wanted to give up. However, my mother encouraged me and practised the song along with me. Soon, I started gaining confidence and could sing the song independently.

S: When you dedicate time and effort to practice something, you will eventually get what you have been working for. Don’t give up!

T: My favourite teacher is Mdm Pushpa, my Tamil teacher when I was in primary two.

R: She is very kind and patient. She also makes Tamil lessons very interesting, making me look forward to attending Tamil class.

E: For example, when she introduces challenging Tamil words, she patiently explains the meaning and provides English translation, making it easier for us to understand.

E: She teaches in a very clear manner. She also creates a fun learning environment, making our learning easier and enjoyable.

S: It is encouraging to have teachers who care for their students and make students feel appreciated.

T:I wish to get the helpful student

R: that's because I have never gotten my first award and I want to make my parents very proud

E:example if U help others and try your best u and others might get a chance to receive the award and U can too.

E:last week when ms atiqah was going through I realised my friend did not understand what she was talking about so I explained it to him so now he knows what to do

S:I recommend everybody to start listening attentively to what the teachers are saying if not you will not understand and it will make it harder for everyone to help you

R:I believe that everybody should show integrity and be kind when no one is around

E:example when the teacher has not arrived to the class yet and your friend does not understand what the homework is about U must help him and explain what it is about

E:when I got the award my parents put it in a file where we put all the award forms into the file

S:I suggest that everybody should try their best then everybody can get a chance to get the award

T:ms atiqah is my favourite teacher

R:because she has been the most caring and calmest teacher I have ever met

E:example If you don't know how to do she will come and help you in the calmest way and she will always understand what you are saying

E:one time in science I didn't know how to do the relationship question and she understood that I did not know how to do this question

S:I will tell you that if your teacher scold you they are always trying to tell you that your wrong so please understand why they are scolding you for.

T: Yes, I would like to receive the 'Most Hardworking' Award.

R: This is because I studied hard.

E: I keep practising the words for my spelling.

E: I managed to achieve higher marks than last time.

S: I will continue to work hard to get full marks.

R: This is because I was kind and friendly to other students.

E : When my friend Inara needed help in Maths , i taught her how to solve the multipication.

E: She felt more understanding after I explain to her slowly.

S:  i would like to offer some help to not only my friends perhaps teachers or someone who struggles to ask for help. Weather they need with their homework or lending a hand with carry books or keeping the class clean or distributes the books as offering my help can make a big differences.

T: Yes i have went up to the stage to receive Edusave Good Progression award and receive a $100 for the first time.

R: At first I was struggling with my studies, with the help of my teachers and my good friends I improve alot in my studies. My teacher never fail to support you so does my parents.

E:  I felt so happy when my parents receive the letter. At first I was nervous to go up to the stage but my family went up together with me and receive the award together. We took photos together with Mr Shareal Taha and get to keep the photo and certficate as a memory

E: We can start to help each other and give kindness to everyone so that everyone can work as a team.

S: Always be helping each other no matter how hard it is as long as we play our part to work as a team.

T:  I like Miss Atiqah the most

R: I like her the most because she is very kind, sweet and hard working. She also cares about me and my classmates.

E: When we make a mistakes in the question , she will go through together to solve the question.

E:  She encourage us not to given on our studies and keep trying till we succeed.

S: She makes teaching fun and makes me inspires to be calm and peaceful person.
