         <description><![CDATA[<div>from looking at the slides, it becomes clear that there is an understanding of what good personal tutoring might entail, but there is a massive "implementation gap". The expectation simply cannot be fulfilled, an academic cannot have all the hats on among all their other jobs. Either there is commitment to a tutorial system (a la Oxbridge), well-resourced, or PT will stay in the area of reactive, "deficit" engagement. There are too many roles for a single PT to fulfill...&nbsp;<br>In Computer Science, one tutor has about 40 tutees to take care of. It is impossible, to do anything beyond being a multiplexer to access the right resources.</div>]]></description>
