Fake news everywhere on the internet and a 12 percent of everyone around the world are on the internet all the time, so that percent is clicking on these clickbait fake news sights and reading all this fake mess and believing this news. These fake sights are messing with many peoples, lives, jobs ect. Fake news needs to end for the better of the world. According to my research Facebook accounted for 50% of total traffic to fake news sites and 20% of total traffic to reputable news sites. Also Millennials are 16 percent less likely to click on fake news from Facebook compared to the rest of the population. Another thing is that schools don’t have curriculum for teaching about fake news and media literacy , so you end up with more than 80% of middle schoolers unable to identify fake news

Our self esteem project was the most important to me because I really connected to it. To actually have a project that you really connect with. When I say connect with it I mean I actually dealt with having low self esteem and not having the confidence to actually believe I’m good enough for the world, especially being in high school everywhere you look there’s expectations of what your supposed to look like and what the new trend is. This project was the most important to me because I Connected through it the most.

The project that I absolutely did not compose of was the plastic problem. This project is one of them kind of project that I absolutely did not connect to . It’s kinda like when you get a writing prompt and you have to write an essay on it. If I connect to the prompt I’m gonna have more to write on it but if I don’t have a clue what to write because I have no connection I can’t relate to it and I’m going to have a hard time coming up with things to write. When I researched about the plastic problem it was easier to write about the problem but I just couldn’t get a grasp of how to make our project better .

Some skills that have worked on in this class is definitely doing better research to make what I’m writing stronger . When I say stronger I mean include real facts to make that readers of what I’m writing know I was being accurate about my research. When I go off to college I’m now going to also know how to pick out fake news articles.
