One difficult choice made by a character was Lyons asking his dad, Troy, for money. You could tell that he did not want to ask Troy because he doesn't seem to have a great relationship. "Troy, leave your boy alone," Rose says. She is trying to diffuse the tension between the two men. In addition, you can tell that their relationship is complicated when Lyons say, "You don't know nothing about the way I was raised." This shows that Troy was not around his son when he was growing up and Lyons has resentment towards his father about this.

Another Difficult, is Lyons showing up to Troy's house after a while, because it was his payday. but Lyons didn't want to directly ask for the ten dollars "Well.. Hell since you mentioned it... let me have ten dollars" He indirectly requested the ten dollars because Troy brought it up, this tells you that Lyons wanted to initially ask him for the ten dollars but ended up not having to because of Troy's feelings and their not so loving relationship towards each other.

I believe a difficult choice that was made in act one, was Lyons asking Troy for money. I came to this conclusion by observing the relationship between Troy and Lyons. It seems like Lyons doesn't come to visit often When Lyons comes into the scene he seems to put his true intentions of what he wants to the side.

The most difficult choice was Troy deciding to give Lyon ten dollars. That´s why writing this is kind of difficult writing because I can see both sides between Rose and Troy. One side is the motherhood compassionate side. Rose tells Troy to just give him money to support himself throughout the week. The hard times Lyon falls on might not have any age limit to it. But I also see Troy´s point telling Lyon he is a grown man and to earn what he deserves and build self-respect as a 35-year-old man to not come looking for an easy way out whenever the world becomes too challenging

A difficult decision I found in scene one is when troy told the story of how he bought furniture for the house, but he is paying only 10 dollars a month for it. The reason I believe it could have been a difficult choice is because the possible interest that comes with the 10 dollars a month, maybe troy felt he had to take that possibly stupid deal because he felt as though he needed to furnish his home without worrying about the possible repercussions.

I feel like it was a difficult choice for Lyons to ask his dad for ten dollars, because Troy and Lyons don't have a great relationship. Also ten dollars at the time was a lot of money. I think Lyons needs the money because i'm sure Lyons knows how his dad is and he believes you should work for what you have.

One of the Craziest difficult decisions so far after both scenes in act one has to be when Troy talks about how he took his brothers money from being injured in world war two, and used it to buy a home "I'm just stating If my brother didn't have a metal plate in his head, I wouldn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of." this is a really tense conversation between troy and rose but this also shows us the tough decision that troy had to make using his brothers check from his participation in the war in order to get a house. But was it tough? troy was getting old and didn't have the money until his brother and his physical state magically became a option.
