　　Tens of thousands of artisans from all over the North and South were drafted to Beijing and gathered in a vacant lot not far to the east of the ruins of the Yuan Palace, where they were going to break ground to build a new palace.

　　Previously, the construction project had been in preparation for 11 years. From Yongle four years, quarrying wood and stone, the preparation of materials, dredging canals, collection of craftsmen, to this summer, finally all things are ready.

　　Three years of construction, an unprecedented magnificent palace city was born in Shuntianfu. In January of the 18th year of Yongle, Ming Chengzu Zhu Di issued an edict to officially move the capital to Beijing, moving the palace into the Forbidden City, which is a collection of all the best work.
