Learning Spanish in school opened doors to a world of culture and communication. Growing up near the Mexican border, I also felt the power of language in connecting diverse communities.


My time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Colombia deepened my passion for Spanish and highlighted the transformative impact of cross-cultural connections. I aim to share this joy and understanding with my students, empowering them to embrace the world through language.
