For one, there was a lack of emotion and eye contact, especially for applying to be an elementary school teacher. Although you were not as spirited as you could’ve been, it is obvious you care for children through your previous experience. Lack of eye contact and run-off sentences that seem to all mimic each other rather than bring a new point forward are major issues I see with this elevator speech.]]> 2018-03-15 03:49:50 UTC https://padlet.com/conell666/y1p5pifkrd3j/wish/242180185 HIRE conell666 https://padlet.com/conell666/y1p5pifkrd3j/wish/242386036 This elevator speech shows that you are not only skilled in teaching, but you are also presenting yourself well.  Your words and tone of voice show that you have had a great deal of past work experience in the field of your choice, which is helpful to talk about to a potential employer.  One improvement would be to keep it more general in terms of listing all your work experiences; you can say that you've had several different teaching experiences with various age groups in different settings but you don't have to list them all out.
