Some opponents might argue that they need to dropout of high school to help out his/her’s family. However, that is not true. In fact, graduating high school and spending four years in college can get you a better income. According to a Data Analysis of Average Income by Education, it says getting a Four-Year College degree can earn you around $46,930 a year. A final reason, high school graduates make an average of $8,000 more than high school dropouts. Clearly then, staying in school for a couple more years can affect your income in the later days.

Furthermore, many students that finish high school are most likely to find a more advanced job. One reason is because you attended high school and took all classes required. According to a Radio Interview with Mr. Moran, it states that, "Those without a high school diploma have lower earnings, higher unemployment, lower job satisfaction—they even have a higher likelihood of ending up in jail or on public assistance. So, it really is a bad deal for kids." This is important because it extends the likelihood of getting a better job and won't have any problem trying to get another job if something happens to your current job.

First of all, dropping out of high school can affect your life in the future. According to the Radio Interview with Mr. Moran, he says "Well, the problem is that even if a student makes a reasonable decision to leave school for work, that decision is likely to have a negative impact over the course of his or her life." This is important to consider because teens who dropout of high school could start doing or alcohol and get no where in life other than kids who stay in high school and move onto college.
