It's in response to a blog from David Bogle (UCL) which is a trail to the review of the Concordat, which may say some helpful and bold things about development of research staff. For me, the crucial element is how do we better help both RS and their PIs to understand that development can and should be aligned with their work in such a way that it benefits their research now as well as their future employability.
