I am not saying that it is not possible to assess maths differently; but we need to stay in line with other brick build universities if we are to be believed to be maintaining standards

But it was obvious from the scripts and results that the students still needed to revise to answer the questions as well as they did.

Modules had to adapt individually with a range of options, some easier than others. No adjustment was needed on S206 for marking ie results were comparable. On S390 SXE390 had most disruption and the grades were "up" compared to other strands on the module without fieldwork adjustments. Too difficult to say why result were up son they were not readjusted as not hugely up on previous years.
