Jimmy made the first visit for my husband Todd so memorable. There was at least a foot of snow outside and it was his suggestion to play night football with the boys. They had a blast!

Jimmy always lifted my spirits. Every single time I saw him, whether it be on the corner of the bleachers at an EC basketball game, or in passing for a fishing trip with my brother. I always left him feeling a little happier

On the basketball court Jimmy was always a fierce competitor but when the whistle blew you always saw the joy & warmth on Jimmy’s face. A man who would help opponents up off the floor or give you a pat when you missed a shot, you could always feel God’s presence in your interactions with Jimmy. His thousand watt smile & fade away lefty jumper are only a couple of the joy filled memories I’ll always hold dear of Jimmy.

I’ll always remember going to bed upstairs and hearing a very loud rumbling noise on the surround-sound Sal had so generously hooked up below my bedroom on the first floor. I called my brother one evening when Jimmy was over to play Xbox to let him know that it sounded like world war 2 upstairs and to turn it down and Jimmy just started laughing so hard. Occasionally Sal would have a guys night with Jimmy after a day of fishing and I would come downstairs for a glass of water. The two of them would be eating dinner… which was usually just a table full of sour gummy worms, sour patch kids, Oreos, flaming hot Cheetos and Mountain Dew. Every time he came over he always had a smile on his face and was super sweet.
